Man Held Without Bail on Rape, Assault Charges

A Vineyard Haven man is being held without bail after being arraigned last week on 23 charges, including assault to murder and rape.
Emergency Drill Planned Sunday at Martha's Vineyard Airport

The Martha’s Vineyard Airport will be closed for about three hours Sunday as Island emergency responders join in an exercise of the airport’s emergency response plan. The airport warns that passengers and other airport users may not be able to access the airport during brief periods on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
