My favorite saints day celebration is Oct. 4, St. Francis day. What a guy!

Tivoli Day, always a welcome festival, was held in Oak Bluffs last Sunday, a rain delay from Saturday.

The Fishing Derby started off with a lot of energy when the great fisher Janet Messineo rang the opening bell. This annual monthly contest has a lot of eager participants.

Marsha Winsyrg will speak at the Martha's Vineyard Museum on Friday, Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. about her work with the African Artists Community Development Project.

Did we make it? Traffic already seems to be less. Keep in mind the school buses and our children headed off to school or returning after their school day.

I must mention how fortunate we are to have Heather Maciel as our town Animal Control Officer. I had some issues to address about my two delightful dogs.

The Agricultural Fair was deemed a great success except for some rain on Thursday night.

A whole day dedicated to me and my gang - Tuesday, August 13 is International Left Handers Day.
